On August 30, 2016, Andy Smith joined us for 3210's first Speaker Series event at Randolph School's exquisite Thurber Arts Center auditorium. Surrounded by an audience of 400, Andy shared his founding story and took questions from the audience.
Andy had a number of well-received points: he spoke of how he values being an entrepreneur for the sake of the fulfillment he experiences on a day-to-day basis; he spoke of how his idea isn't really that good -- that "execution" is the most important trait for an entrepreneur; he encouraged Huntsville's millennials to follow in his footsteps and start their own businesses.
Both before and after Andy's interview, we held a cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed free wine, beer, and hors d'oeuvres courtesy of 3210 partners: Homegrown Huntsville, Marketplace Cafe, Mason Dixon Bakery and Bistro, Rag Doll Company Catering, Sugar Pusher Bakery, John Blue Realty, AEgis Technologies, Rainspace Computing, and The Foundry.
